Sinds een maandje hebben we een nieuw gezicht in ons team: Lieke. Ze studeert aan de Hogeschool Rotterdam en zit in haar laatste jaar. Ze gaat aan de slag met de modulariteit van ons BlueBiofilter, het product dat water op een natuurlijke manier zuivert. We vroegen haar wat meer te vertellen over de komende tijd. Meet Lola - our newest team member. She is here for a 4-month internship, all the way from France. She will work in our R&D department and her focus is on water quality.

This week we participated in the Trade Mission Water in Spain, organised by RVO and the Dutch Embassy in Spain. Karina joined the mission and had the opportunity to share our experiences working in Spain, showcase our project in Madrid and establish new relationships. We asked her to tell us more!

Mirthe is making a new career move. Five years after launching her career as Field Factors’ first official employee, she will be starting her own business in the wool industry. Of course, we cannot let her go without reflecting on her time at Field Factors.

Last year Mary joined our team to complete her master’s program, Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design, at Politecnico di Milano in Piacenza (Italy). She recently finished - and did an amazing job! Her final grade was 105/110 - a 9,5 in Dutch terms. Read more about her research and the process here.

What are you most excited about? I like the fact that FF is a small team that works closely together. Because of this, I think you know well what everyone in the team is doing and therefore also how you can support each other (interview in Dutch)

Why did you choose FF as your graduation company?

Water re-use, sustainability and the urban environment gets me very excited. With my background a water management student, FF was the perfect graduation company. Also, the first encounter was very spontaneous and it immediately felt as a warm and enthusiastic team.
