We are looking to expand our Delivery team with a Process Engineer who will be responsible for the design, configuration and engineering of the water treatment systems we install for our customers. Job description


As a Process Engineer you are responsible for the effective, efficient and reliable performance of our treatment and supply systems. You operate in both Delivery and R&D, to ensure the consistent application of our technology under various circumstances.

In our Delivery team, you will be responsible for the accurate implementation of our technology in delivery projects. You will configure our products, dimension the piping and instrumentation, and compile your design in drawings and product documentation.

You will act as the system integrator, making sure that requirements from a water treatment perspective, are met given the hydraulic, constructive, and environmental constraints of the project location. You define the Process Flow Diagram at the beginning of a project, and work this our into a Piping & Instrumentation Diagram, and 3D drawings.

You will be supporting our R&D team in improving and expanding our product-portfolio. You will be safeguarding the efficient, effective, and fit-for-purpose treatment performance in new products that are developed in R&D.

In summary:

  • You use your extensive knowledge of (natural) treatment processes to make sure the system configuration is tailored to the project specific circumstances;

  • You communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, suppliers and contractors to ensure the system design meets the program of requirements;

  • You are up to date with state-of-the-art treatment techniques to help us improve and expand our current product portfolio.

What you need to be successful:

  • A background in environmental engineering, sanitary engineering, water resource engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering or a similar water technology oriented master degree;

  • Minimal 2 years of experience with environmental engineering / natural treatment systems;

  • Ability to work with Plant 3D, AutoCAD, and other structural or design software

  • Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English, preferably also in Dutch and/or Spanish;

  • An inquisitive, professional and proactive attitude;

  • Drivers license B(E).
