Karina Peña at the Kickoff Meeting of the 100+ Accelerator in Leuven, Feb 2024.

We are thrilled to announce that we are part of the new cohort 5 of the 100+ Accelerator!

FieldFactors is partnering up with AB InBev to improve water quality and access to water in water-stressed communities in AB InBev’s supply chain.

The 100+ Accelerator is a unique partnership co-sponsored by Anheuser-Busch InBev, Coca-Cola, Colgate-Palmolive, and Unilever to fund and pilot sustainable innovation in their supply chains. The programme was launched in 2018 to support the achievement of the UN SDGs and exponentially to fuel the growth of startups developing critical sustainability solutions.

The Opportunity

FieldFactors is one of the 32 startups partnering up with four of the largest consumer goods companies in the world, which are opening up their supply chains and leveraging their teams to maximise collective impact.

We will work together with AB inBev, to pilot our BlueBloqs solution for rainwater treatment and infiltration for aquifer replenishment in Mexico City, to then scale and transform their global supply chain.

What next

The pilot project will start in April 2024. We will work together with AB InBev to test the viability of implementing the BlueBloqs technology for managed aquifer recharge at AB InBev’s facility in Mexico City. With an area of 10 hectareas, the facility has the potential to capture approximately 100 million litres of rainwater per year to recharge the already stressed aquifer. The goal is to then scale and transform their global supply chain.

The 100+ Accelerator program invest sin companies from Seed to Series B stage. The 100+ Accelerator delivers 6 months of remote programming and training to accelerate the collaboration and growth of cohort companies in addition to a pilot/alliance with the corporate partner companies. Startups receives support from a global team champion, access to mentor networks and up to $100K toward pilot execution. The aim is to goal is to have your company complete the program and graduate to a larger commercial contract and strong relationship with one or more of the partner companies.
