BlueBiofilter
Advanced natural treatment of urban rainwater runoff for deep infiltration.
The BlueBiofilter is a patented modular biofiltration system with high treatment efficiency and small footprint developed to comply with European water quality standards for deep infiltration and reuse of urban rainwater runoff.
With BlueBiofilter you treat urban rainwater runoff, surface water or groundwater.
The BlueBiofilter integrates biofiltration technology in a compact and automated system that provides advanced removal of suspended solids, heavy metals, nutrients and organic pollutants from the influent water. It is applied to treat urban rainwater runoff, surface water or groundwater.
The BlueBiofilter ensures compliance with European water quality standards for infiltration and reuse, and is suitable to work seamlessly with infiltration systems to avoid clogging of the infiltration wells.
The BlueBiofilter works together with the BlueHub to deliver an integrated solution for rainwater treatment, infiltration & reuse.
Rainwater treatment has never looked so good!
The BlueBiofilter not only treats rainwater effectively but it also adds spatial quality to your project site.
Advanced & reliable treatment
Typically above ground, the biofiltration system removes specific pollutants found in urban runoff, such as metals, suspended solids and organic pollutants. Its automated and controlled operation provides long-term and reliable performance.
Beauty to the surrounding
Our green system has carefully-selected plants and organic materials that not only provide treatment functions but also add beauty and biodiversity to the surroundings. The BlueBiofilter is protected by edges which can be customized to match your project identity or integrate seat elements.
Modular & flexible design
The BlueBiofilter is developed in a modular design which can be expanded to different sizes and configured in different shapes to meet your project needs.

It all starts with a conversation
Get a circular water system for your project in 3 simple steps.
1.
Let’s chat. Schedule a discovery meeting.
We always start with a chat. Have a location in mind? Let us know and we will discuss your project site, your water needs and quality requirements. No strings attached.
2.
Get an overview of the possibilities.
With the information you provide us, we will make a Quick Scan to explore the rainwater reuse opportunities your site has to offer. We conduct a preliminary site analysis to understand the project area, the source of the water, the intended application, and other relevant factors.
3.
Choose your solution.
Once we outline the technical possibilities, we will advise you on the best solution to fit your project site, water needs and budget. You will decide the next step by choosing the service package that is right for you to start in, depending on the phase of your project or contracting conditions.
